Development
The System is being developed with 18 years of experience in Indigent Representation
The First 50 Attorneys will have access to the currently developed Templates and Instructional Guides
The System is for Indigent Representation Attorneys only and will create client notices, letters, motions, etc. with a click of the button based upon the information you enter into the E3 billing system during an intake of a new case or phase
The System will provide a step by step process, a road map, if you will, of how to handle each type of Indigent Case and Each Attorney Role for each type of case
As new law comes down, the System will be updated and all templates, and guides will be updated as necessary
The Team at IBS along with the First 50 Attorneys will work together to complete the Templates and the Guides
For Non Indigent Cases- When the Indigent Practice System comes online, IBS will work toward the development of practice systems in other areas of the law, such as Divorce and Family Relations
IBS is already working with Attorneys with years of experience is certain fields to develop the touch button step-by-step system for certain areas of practice
The First 50 will also have access to any of these systems at no additional cost.
Doing What You Should Do
The system is being designed to help make sure you are doing what you should do
Have you ever told a judge in a criminal case that you reviewed the elements and all lesser included offenses? Did you answer YES? Had you actually done that?
With the Practice System you will have always reviewed the lesser included, elements, potential sentences, etc. with your clients
This will occur from the onset of the case and throughout the case
This is just one example, there are so many others
Many judges that have seen the Practice System in development have said "All lawyers should practice like this!"
CYA
The System is designed to cover your tail
The System will contain notices for issues that you should be making your client's aware of, but oftentimes forget to do so
The System contains multiple client signature spots and initial spots so your client acknowledges you have adequately informed them
The System includes written and signed instructions from your clients directing you on how to proceed so there is never a question on what your client wanted done
The System provides initial documentation to your clients explaining the type of case they are involved in and provides your clients with specific information that they need to be aware of
A former District Attorney was shown the criminal side of the system and he responded "I would happily represent you in a Post Conviction proceeding with a file like that."
Provide Excellent Service & Adequately Inform
If you use the Practice System, your clients will notice that you are more on top of the game than other attorneys who do not use this system
They will be more satisfied with your service
You will get referrals from them for private higher paying work simply because you did a good job for them as an indigent client
Everything you do in indigent cases should be an advertisement of you as an attorney, the Practice System will help you do just that
All Reasonable and Payable
Every step of the Practice System is Reasonable and Payable
Every letter, notice, acknowledgment, motion, etc. is Reasonable and Payable
You will increase your average claims size simply by doing what you should be doing now
Closer to Necessary
Arguably everything in the Practice is actually necessary even though you may not be doing the steps, notices, etc. in the System now
