Meet the IBS Internal Team
Brandon Potter, Esq.-President-C.E.0.
Brandon Potter came together with the most experienced personnel in the indigent representation industry to form Indigent Billing Solutions in 2018. The decision to start and assist those who represent indigent people in court came after Brandon and his staff represented and assisted hundreds of indigent clients. The passion for representing the clients transformed into a passion to also help those who represent these indigent clients.
Before the practice of law and formation of Indigent Billing Solutions, Brandon graduated from East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a minor in Legal Studies. While at ETSU, Brandon was the President of the Tennessee Gamma Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon. After undergraduate, Brandon attended law school in Charlotte, NC and obtained his J.D. in 2015.
Brandon remains active in the community and is a member of the Greene County Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, and is the AVC President for Sigma Phi Epsilon at ETSU.

Lee Boyd is responsible for the daily operations of Indigent Billing Solutions, Inc. as the Vice President of Operations and oversees claim entries for the clients of IBS, Inc. Lee Boyd has been entering claims for indigent defense counsel in the state of Tennessee since 2018, and is responsible for over a thousand error-free claims entered for defense attorneys since that time. Lee brings his work ethic, billing knowledge, and attention to detail to the table to ensure that IBS’s client’s billing remains easy and efficient.
Lee Boyd is a native of Bristol, TN where he currently resides with his wife Kelly and his two children, Collin and Kyleigh. Lee served in the United States Marine Corp Reserves after graduating from Sullivan East High School and has received an Associate of Science from Northeast State Community College. and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Milligan College, where he graduated from both with Summa Cum Laude honors. After undergraduate, Lee attended law school in Charlotte, NC and obtained his J.D. in 2015.
